In fact either don't get carpets at all, or get a color other than white, and you'll find your life at home that much less stressful!

Did you install carpet?
I didn't install. However, the place I stay in has white carpets, and I see/hear this "My carpet's going to get stained!" all the time.
This was more of a Note to Myself.
